Which bikes are eligible for the Bosch motor update?
The update is available for all eBikes equipped with the newest Bosch Performance Line CX motor – identified by the motor code BDU 38.
HAIBIKE models eligible for the upgrade can be easily recognized on the website by the yellow symbol.

Full performance in just a few steps:
Open the Bosch eBike Flow app on your smartphone
Connect your HAIBIKE eBike to the app
The update will appear automatically in the app (starting July 2025)
Install the update – and you’re done!

*Important: To install the update, your eBike must be equipped with the Bosch Smart System and a BDU 38 motor.
Also keep in mind:
Higher power values place more strain on mechanical components and can reduce your bike’s range — more power means more wear and potentially shorter rides. It’s entirely up to you whether or not to install the update.
By default, the Performance Line CX (BDU384Y) still comes with the standard performance values of: 85 Nm torque, 600 watts peak power, and 340% pedal assistance.
